Shirtboards—Morocco/Italy, ’52 (1991)

This series consists of facsimiles of twenty-eight collages executed in the early 1950s, largely in Italy and Morocco, on cardboard inserts from laundered shirts. The facsimiles, which are 50 percent larger than the original works, were printed by hand and assembled at Styria Studio, New York.
