Artists' Community Administrator Residency
The Artists’ Community Administrator Residency is designed to provide creative time and space for practicing artists of all disciplines who also have a full-time position at an artists’ community. The dates are September 30 – October 14, 2018.
The residency is open to full-time staff who have been employed for at least one year by an organization that is a member of the Alliance of Artists Communities in good standing. Our ideal outcome is to support artists from a range of disciplines, backgrounds, ages and positions. The application is open to employees in any department (administration, fundraising, maintenance, marketing, programming, studio, etc.) and who are practicing artists of all disciplines (literary arts, media arts, music, performing arts, visual arts, etc.).
The residency is limited to ten people (we have ten beds) and applicants must commit to attending for the full two weeks, as well as receive full support from their employer. We will provide housing, meals, studio/equipment usage, and staff resources. Selected participants are asked to provide their own transportation; however, there is some travel support available in cases where that is not possible.
