Vydock (1995)

Vydock is a series of paintings on bonded aluminum with graphite, silkscreened images from Rauschenberg’s black-and-white photographs, and acrylic brushwork. The word “vydock” is Southern slang for viaduct, which is suggested by the vertical ribbon of iridescent hand painting.
